1. Coat grill grates with cooking oil..

5. Cook sausages 10 minutes each side or until they look right to you..
6. Mash potatoes over the butter, ensuring it mixes in. I used an apple corer because I don't own a masher and it worked gorgeously..
7. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly..
8. Potatoes should be a little chunky; this is supposed to be a rustic meal..
9. Plate potatoes. Add sausages on top right off the grill..
10. I paired a Cabernet Savignon with the meal, but a stout or an Irish red would pair quite nicely..
